Livingroom wall collage

I've seen these done a thousand times and have been wanting one of my very own...sooo I began collecting ornate style frames when on my weekly treasure hunts.  They ran about $2-$3 per frame, and were in desperate need of some white spray paint love!  (I forgot to take a before pictures..boo!!)  Here's a pic of the blank canvas..newly painted walls in Sterling by Behr.

Here are the beauties with a glossy shade of white. I arranged them on the floor to get an idea of how
I wanted them to look on the wall.

Next I put pretty paper in each frame and spray painted an A (for our last name) a medium glossy grey.

Here is the wall now..sorry for the bad pics..the detail of the frames is not showing very well.
So I was thinking of adding details like silhouette's and such?? Or leave the pretty paper be the detail?? Whatcha think??

  1. I think you should add silhouttes to a few of the frames, with the pretty paper as the backround! I am in the process of framing silhouttes as a birthday present for my hubby, using scrapbook paper as the backround. LOVE IT. :)
